Top executives announce “Making a Change in Our Communities” charity challenge
Arizona-based multifamily management firm MC Companies is taking their philanthropic to new levels, the company announced Wednesday. Beginning immediately, and going until October 31st, employees company wide have been challenged to raise funds and spread awareness about a chosen cause.
Splitting into teams of four, employees will present a report to a judging panel at the end of the campaign detailing the impact their efforts had on their apartment residents and the community at large. In addition to proceeds collected as part of the campaign, the winning charity will also be presented with a $2,500 check from MC Companies’ Sharing the Good Life Foundation.
“Giving back to others and creating positive relationships within our communities is at the heart of what we do,” says President Lesley Brice. “We have seen how much our employees want to give through fundraisers for organizations like Autism Speaks and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This challenge will really open up our employees’ hearts to choose charities that they care about and will allow them to unleash their creativity to help others.”
MC Companies is known for its charitable efforts, led by the shared vision of partners Ken McElroy, Ross McCallister and Lesley Brice. The Sharing the Good Life Foundation is the embodiment of this vision. Its goal is to enable MC Companies employees across Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma with a wide array of opportunities to give back to the communities where they work and live.
